I read this article on John Howards latest Smoke Screen.

Aparently the reason the community has sunk to such a low level is because the Howard Government have been neglecting these people in the first place.

Quote: "They said the community had gone backwards in terms of services since Mr Brough became minister."

That says it all right there.

Is anyone surprised?

Howards Budget Surplus comes from somewhere... Right?

We knew the Doctors were unhappy with Howard. Because they refused to bulk bill.. Right?

The Unions are unhappy cos Howard forces reduced wages on all us plebs. At the same time Howards "Independant Tribunal" allows a 6.7% increase in politicians wages.

That Tribunal may be in theory be "Independant". But the way it goes is like this. The Tribunal consists of 3 people. They are selected by the Governor General. The Governor General is selected by the Prime Minister. So they may claim to be independant. But in reality they are 3 people who are on multiple boards and act as little more than a figurhead. While in reality the "work" is done by a Government Department secretairiate. So just how independant is it? When it is supplied with data from a government agency?

How about we force Howard and his cronies onto a performance based contract like he wants all Australians to be covered with? Whats wrong with that John? Let me fill out the contract.. I have seen a few of these things now. I will take your fat cat cash and replace it with 'Survival Money' like you tried to do to the rest of us.

If you dont like it... Stiff.. We dont like YOU John. I'd have the slimey ferret working for what he is worth. Bare minimum wages. Go back to doing whatever you want John.. But don't stuff up my country anymore.

Democracy is supposed to be the 'will of the people'...
How come that slimey ferret took us to war? When 80% of the population didn't want it? How does that work? When one man can overule public opinion? It doesn't sound like democracy.. It sounds like a dictatorship.

Same as what he is doing to the Aboriginals. They say the need infastructure. Howard offers then Police and Army. Fines for the poor of our community. Howard must have realized that this part of Australia has less fines than other parts. Well.. More cops should fix that.. Hang the human suffering cops cause.. Stuff the fallout of a complete disruption of reasonably quiet communities. Just more fine money in the bank to add to the surplus.

If Howard funded the states better we wouldn't have such a problem with Hospitals and many other previously state owned utilities wouldn't have been privitized. Howard is the direct cause of all this hardship. Next election. Use your head. Don't vote for Howard or any of his 'yes' men.

The ALP looks like a clone of Howards gang.. It's true.. The ALP state governments aren't doing a very good job either. They act like pseudo liberals nowadays.. They allow suffering at all levels without seeming to care.. They are no better than the liberals. So much for ALP policy.. They should stick to their blue color grass roots. Or the voting public may just allow Howard to remain. Because in the voting publics eye.. They are the same anyway..

Think back to basic physics. Things in motion tend to stay in motion. Things at rest tend to stay at rest. If there is no difference between the liberals and the ALP.. May as well leave the liberals in.. The ALP needs to get back to improving the lot of the common man. After 10 years of John Howard.. The working man needs a break. But only if the ALP are prepared to really improve the situation. If not.. Let em rot. Voting Independant is really the smart way.. Shame either the liberals or the alp are the only ones going to get in.. Thats why most people dont vote independant.

But there is a change coming. People dont like the way the politicians have been operating. Maybe sooner than you think Australians will wake up and realize that voting Independant is the only true way of getting representation that will not be stifled by some stupid party politics.

Many Australians are unhappy with Australian Federal Government decisions and overall policy regarding social welfare, environment, health, and education. (Just to name a few..)

Industrial Relations and an involvement in a war is just icing on the cake for the ALP.

John Howards Government will be no more after the next election.

Time to remember past injustice..

Remember to Vote accordingly in the 2007 Federal Election.

Vote 1 ALP (or independant depending on available candidates)

But remeber a vote for Liberal is a vote for more Howard dictatorship.

Back in 2001 I setup a lazerzap.com free domain redirection with a company called namezero. (they wanted me to pay after the trial.. But I never bothered..)

Has WIN 10 gone too far?

Geez.. I dont know..
Maybe its me... But I don't think so..
I know I'm getting old. (49)
Perhaps it does make a difference that I have 2 kids under 14..
I guess because of that I'm getting more sensitive to TRASH on TV.

At 7.30pm on Friday 23rd March 2007 the kids and I were watching TV.

Although initially I didn't want the kids influenced by the Simpsons deranged American brand of humor. Eventually I bowed to the Childrens Peer Preasure.
(All the other Kids watch it.. They talk about it at school and we feel like your making us live in the 1950's. Why can't we watch the Simpsons?)

Thankfully as the years progressed the Simpsons became more Kid friendly.
(Even I get a chuckle at the antics of the Simpsons nightly nowadays.)

Not that we get a choice on Win 10. Notice the 3 Simpsons episodes.

Then it was 8.30pm.
A Movie started. It was called "The Sweetest Thing".
Well.. This Movie had me off my chair and "attempting" to find a TV station I could happily allow the kids to see.

I mean.. It's 8.30pm on Friday Night. No School tomorrow.
So of course the kids want to stay up a little later than usual.
They normally go to bed on a School night at 9.30pm.

Anyway.. "The Sweetest Thing" isn't for kids..
It embarased me in front of the kids in the first 5 mins of the Movie.

Maybe I should just "give up" and turn off the TV after 8.30pm.
Because not much is suitable for the kids after that time.

I just thought that at 8.30pm on a Friday night the Network Executive who chose the content would have "eased" out of the Simpsons into something less severe for parents.

Win 10 rated it as (M) Mature Audiences. [Adult Themes or medical procedures, Coarse language, Sexual references/sex scenes] But in my opinion (for the 5 mins I saw it) It should have been rated much higher. Initially this TRASH was rated (R) in the USA. Why then is it rated (M) here?

In a nutshell.. It's about GIRLS who are looking for "Mr RIGHT NOW!!" rather than "Mr Right".

Very modern attitude you might say.
Yes why not brain wash our Daughters to think Cock a doodle doo any cock will do?

I'm sorry but this is un-acceptable as a parent of a young Daughter.
I don't care if the main offender has a change of heart later in the story.

The explicit nature of the Movie coupled with the FOUL Language isn't something I want my Daughter to emulate.

Sueing Mr. Santoro

Hmmm I thought.. This Mr Santoro has made a big mistake.. What he has done is in breach of the Constitution of Australia and carries large penalties as described in that document. Wow I thought.. The people of Australia can bring a class action against Mr Santoro and there is nothing he can do about it because it is written in plain language as being a condition of becoming a Member of Parliament or a Senator.

So I contacted my Federal Liberal Party Representative Mr Patrick Secker.
What follows is the email that I sent to him.

Trading Shares in companies that he directly or even indirectly was able
to influence or assist as a Member of the House of Representatives is against the Australian Constitution.

As a result I will be seeking legal advise in sueing Mr. Santoro for 1/4 of his yearly salary for every day that he failed to resign.

Section 48. indicates that a member of the house of representatives is to be paid 400 pounds per year.

Section 46. indicates that 100 pounds per day is to be paid by members who default on the provisions contained within the constitution.

Obviously members salaries have been increased and converted to decimal currency since the constitution has been formed.

I take section 46 to indicate 1/4 the members salary.

I therefore demand to know:

1. The date Mr. Santoro aquired the shares or bonds that he sold.

2. What other companies Mr. Santoro has interests in.

3. The date that Mr. Santoro disposed of his interests in those companies.

4. If Mr. Santoro has disposed some of his intersts to his immediate family.

5. If those shares or interests (disposed of to Mr. Santoro's family) have now been sold or traded.

6. What date those interests were disposed of.

7. How many days was Mr. Santoro in breach of the guidelines contained in Section 45. of the constitution.

If there are other acts or laws dealing with Members allowances or penalties in existance.

Please provide the information to me via the above email address.

Democracy or What??

According to Wikipedia: "Democracy.. is a form of government for a nation state, or for an organization in which all the citizens have an equal vote or voice in shaping policy."

I have a simple question.

Why then am I restricted from contacting my local members. Both liberal. State and Federal. When I attempt to have existing laws modified, or discuss current policy of any description. The honorable members need me to articulate my thoughts using pen and paper rather than via a simple telephone connection.

I guess they have both decided that I am too difficult to deal with on a weekly level. lol (I kinda dont blame them.. Because they have a lot to answer for.. )

My Federal MP listened to the sound of my unhappy ideals being flushed down the toilet by his federal leadership for about 10 seconds before I was informed that he would not be receiving phone calls from me anymore and that in future to contact him only in writing.

The State MP was able to effectively dodge most questions by blaming the state of the system on his Federal cohorts. However, initially he did hear me out and I came away thinking that this man actually cared. Unfortunately subsequent telephone calls have resulted in similar screening as I receive from my Federal Representative. When I attempt to contact my State MP directly.

The requirement to represent is still being maintained by my elected members.

They just demand that I only contact them in writing.

At the next election. I will vote accordingly.

Seems another one of my X Team members with inspeak has thrown in the towel.
I would like to share it with you.. (Well bits of it)
It pretty well echo's my thoughts on inspeak.

Now this helper was always highly professional. Always offered his best whenever asked. But it appears he finally dropped his load.

I can understand this.

After representing inspeak for over 12 months. I have a few stories I can tell.
But unlike this helper. Who was obviously in a hurry to get his message out.

I am going to take my time. Lets see if we can make the inspeak administration aware of where (In my opinion..) they made their mistakes.

Now you may wonder how I come to have this perspective. In answer to this.. Read On..
As a longterm user of Paltalk I had become disillusioned with a Helper on Paltalks ability to enter rooms invisibly.. Stories were rife on abuses of Helper privelages.
etc etc...

I listened into many Paltalk "Help" Lobbies and determined that helper policy was determined by individual helper attitude. As an X customer service officer I cringed as some Paltalk helpers gave out "red dots" (Disallowing communications to the user) before giving a user a chance to explain their circumstances.

Basically I saw and realized that Paltalk were loosing customers quickly because of the way they chose to handle customer service. After experiencing this for about 3 months.

I determined to find a better Paltalk. My search eventually found me inspeak. What initially attracted me to inspeak was the audio quality.

What also attracted me was the thought of becoming part of a team that had customer service as its primary concern.

I was led to believe that inspeak had the highest regard for customer service. But after experiencing numerous service faults that all revolved around unavalable or non-communicative top level staff.

inspeak help relies on having a minimum of 1 red admin present to fully operate.
Orange helpers do a triple act of tech/social support while basicaly acting as a secretary to whatever red admin is attending. An Orange admin without a red admin can not do anything beyond offering technical or social advise to assist the user.

Many times as an Orange helper I have been "caught short" without a red admin when needed. Resulting in upset users. Who give up in dismay at being unable to contact the administration - for hours - and hours.. I have witnessed this many times. Many times..

Users who needed a room name changed because it contained swearing or detremental references to other users on the inspeak system. They leave inspeak by the room full (3-20+) All because a red admin could not be located after many many hours. Is it any wonder the users find inspeak support unacceptable?

These (and other) examples have made me realize that inspeak does not value it's customers or it's staff.

I guess the inspeak investors (whoever that is.. )
Have no idea how bad things are..

I mean, I too can see the overall improvement, in program operation, over the last 12 months. But no amount of "testing" can or should ever offend or annoy users at any personal levels.

A high quality (speex) voice chat program (like inspeak) provides an understanding to all concerned that can be very revealing. Which can/has/does upset some users when attempting interactions. inspeak staff are no exception to this.

The way I see it is society shapes the individuals bias. Helpers at all levels are effected by their own particular bias. Resulting in a favorable or not response depending on who is asked the question and who is doing the asking (at a helper level and a user level).

All these variables can effect a positive or negative response at all levels.

X inspeak users have created websites that are quite revealing about their interactions with inspeak administration...

The inspeak administration seem to be well on their way to creating a product they will have too rebadge and resell. If they actually want to profit from inspeak. Possibly this was always their direction?

The guesses are many and varied.. I shall try and stick to the evidence..

I have overheard many people complaining. (When I attended the help lobby)

I can guess at what has happened to certain complaining users.
(Based on how I witnessed the various inspeak staff's attitude when interacting with other Staff members or Users)

They have moved on.. Found another chat program to use.. One that doesnt have the internal dramas of inspeak.

The various alternatives are there. Some are based on the Vedos source code. The same (in my opinion) as inspeak. As a result they suffer from the same flaws that the early inspeak builds did. However, the various inspeak alternatives certainly offer the ability to allow users to fully interact in whatever form they wish. Basicaly it comes down too... Who do you trust? Paltalk, inspeak, Opentalk, Cybertrax?

Or maybe you prefer MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, AIM? etc etc

Either way. Your personal information and privacy may be compromised in ways that you may not yet appreciate.

There is money in data.

Why else would all these services be "free"???

Read the companies EULA (End User licencing agreement) or TOS (Terms of service) and you will see that the company can and will do anything they pretty well like with any data that they gather. Not only that. Other software components may be installed without the users specific agreement. If it all makes your system muck up.. They cannot be held responsible. According to the "agreement" we all make when we use the software.

You gotta be a able to trust these chat providers..

In my opinion my system "HAD" a rootkit installed. Possibly a few.. I had been experimenting with various chat programs over time. Unfortunately.. I had also been backing up my working system with those hidden rootkits.

As a result I had to go back to basics and start from scratch using the original microsoft xp installation cdrom. This was the only way to be sure I had removed any unwanted rootkits. I now have a backup system in place. Where I can go back to whatever period I desire. :) Without the rootkits.. I did install MSN into my standard setup. As microsoft have the whole system tied up with a piece of string. What I am saying is.. Does it matter? I think we all have to "trust" microsoft with our information. To be honest.. They seem to have a higher regard for our privacy than their commercial rivals.. Perhaps.. Time will tell..

Basically this all comes down to the complete lack of "rules" that people play by on the internet. It seems like anyone can setup a server and market themselves as the "King" over whatever fantasy they can create.

I personally think trusting the big players is the wisest. But people will experiment. Perhaps take this as a warning. Maintain your backups. There are some nasty players out there. Rootkits can be installed as part of any software.

It seems to be a difficult thing to determine..

It would come as no surprise to most Australians that the Liberal Party of Australia is regarded as a right wing political party. (Even though they label themselves as being Liberals)

I think most Australians would agree that we have a Neo-Liberal party in control of our country.

A Neo-Liberal party de-emphasizes or rejects positive government intervention in the economy, focusing instead on achieving progress and even social justice by encouraging free-market methods and less restricted operations of business and "development".

Aparently, Its supporters argue that the net gains for all under free trade and capitalism will outweigh the costs in all, or almost all, cases.

To improve efficiency and minimize unemployment, Neo-Liberals strive to reject or mitigate labor policies such as minimum wage, and collective bargaining rights. They oppose socialism, protectionism, environmentalism, fair trade, and critics say Neo-Liberals impede democratic rule.

Neo-Liberals reduce wages by de-unionizing workers and eliminating workers' rights that have been won over many years of struggle. No more price controls. All in all, total freedom of movement for capital, goods and services. Neo-Liberals say "An unregulated market is the best way to increase economic growth. This will ultimately benefit everyone."

Neo-Liberals reduce government regulation of everything that could diminsh profits, including protecting the environment and safety on the job.

Neo-Liberals sell state-owned enterprises, goods and services to private investors. This includes banks, key industries, railroads, toll highways, electricity, schools, hospitals and even fresh water. Although usually done in the name of greater efficiency, which is often needed, privatization has mainly had the effect of concentrating wealth even more in a few hands and making the public pay even more for its needs.

Telstra Big Pond's Customer Service

I am a customer of Telstra here in Australia. It is almost impossible not to be.
You see Telstra hold a monopoly over telephone communications in this country. Originally the communications network was completely funded via Government taxation.

The people of Australia owned Telstra outright.

And Telstra provide the infastructure that the other so called providers re-sell to the public. So ultimately we are all Telstra customers here.

Then the Government decided that they could sell this public asset. They floated Telstra on the stock exchange and sold 50% of the company into public hands. This same Federal Government (Howard Government 2005) are about to sell off the other 50% ASAP.

Well I have had some problems with this company.

I am not even going to touch on the substandard retarded dsl option that Telstra have dished up to us. Nor will I comment on the inadaquate services that rural customers are supposed to endlessly suffer.

I just want to comment on the basics. The ability to get your question answered by a company that doesnt have to 'try' and capture a market.

As you would expect, a monopoly doesn't need to treat it's customers very well. The guidelines that the staff have been instructed to operate under obviously don't extend to customer service or support.

The Telstra corporation do NOT provide customer feedback or a voice complaints line for their internet operation. The best you can expect is an email address. ( support@adsl.online.telstra.com.au Which is stupid.. If you cant get on the net ) Or.. A Fax number (And if your like me you have to pay long distance STD rates to even complain?) 02-9930-1596.

The telecommunications company of this country does not provide a voice telephone number for customers to let them know how unhappy they are.

As a result.. People who are unhappy I think normally give up trying to complain. Or If they are angry enough.. End up talking to the Ombudsman on 1800-062-058. But Telstra are smart.. They provide a contact point. 2 in fact. So they are within current legislation. Ahhh!!..Laughable isn't it?

I have at various times attempted to obtain true customer support from Telstra representatives. Each time I come away feeling like I have been insulted. This company is WAY OUT OF CONTROL. They need to be answerable to the public that originally funded them. As well as the Government who supposedly control them.

If the guidelines that they currently operate under have been imposed by this federal government? Then it is a total disgrace!..

OMG they did it AGAIN!!!

Well... They did it again. Instead of $280 from Centerlink.. I got $90.
Any my kids suffer again. I really despise John Howard. His meddling with the system has caused this. Centerlink make no appologies. It's legislation they always say. Recent legislation by the present government.. I always answer. So what happened this time. Well because I was moving. I forgot to return a form. Centerlink dont advise you anymore that they have stopped supporting you. The first thing you know about it is when there is no money for this week. What a horrible little man that Howard must be. To ignore the pleas of honest citizens for a "fair go". To be so penny pinching and money hungry. To impact on low income families this way. It's UN-AUSTRALIAN. Constantly having to worry that a form hasn't been misplaced. Because Centerlink WILL misplace forms and then claim that you have never filled them in. Resulting in a loss of payments again. If you question the system. You get told it's legislation. Howards legislation. Tight Ass Wanker Legislation I think. Ok.. So when I explain that since I moved to this house. My housemate has moved on. Now they will reinstate my benefit. But I have to wait 2 days longer. No appologies for screwing me around. I am lucky to get anything at all. Howards Australia.. Where we all screw each other (like lawyers and soliciters do) for the right to survive. I for one will be very vocal during the next federal election.

Mount Gambier District Health Service

It is with sadness that I have to report to you about the inadaquate health system presently in place in the SE of South Australia. I contact you as a citizen who has been a recipient of Federal Government income support for some time. As a result I think I am able to provide to this committee the view held by most low income earners in this district. I have recently (18 Months ago) moved from Adelaide to Millicent, and lately Beachport. As a result I have dealt with the health system from those locations. It will come as no surprise that as a rural citizen I am expected to put up with a sub standard health system compared to when I was living in Adelaide.
To illustrate the latest problem.
My Daughter gets stung by an insect around 6.00pm Friday evening.
We dont "panic" and apply detol creme and an ice pack.
The next day.. Nothing is said and I forget the incident.
That evening around 6.00pm again. My Daughter indicates that the bite is now very hot and very swolen.
It appears to be not too bad.. But it is Hot and swolen and itchy. So we call the Millicent Hospital.
The Nurse on the telephone tells us that a doctor will be available from 7.00pm.
So we attend the Hospital.
Travelling from Beachport. Aproximately a 70 klm round trip.
We are taken care of by the Nurses in a professional manner.
We consented to a student doctor see'ing my daughter as well.
Then finally the real doctor arrives. Dr David Sare.
Dr Sare, The student doctor. and my daughter proceed to the examination room.
I indicate (as I did with the Student doctor before) that I dont NEED to attend the examination.
(I am waiting for them to give her some antihistermene medication)
Then my Daughter appears.. Motioning for me to come to the examination room.
Dr David Sare then asked me how I wanted to pay for the GAP?
I am in a Public Hospital.. With my pensioner concession card, my medicare card.
Both with my daughters name attached.. And the doctor wants money.
We have an angry discussion which the doctor cuts short.
During this I am told by Dr Sare that the closest place I can recieve FREE medical cover is in Mt Gambier.
Dr Sare suggests that we concentrate on my daughters medical condition before we argue about the fee's.
I agree.
Dr Sare perscribes antibiotics.
I ask why no antihistermene?
Dr Sare indicates that he knows best in these things.
I tell Dr Sare that I have extreme illergic reactions to insect bites and that I am worried that my daughter hasn't been perscribed antihistermenes.
Again Dr Sare indicates that he knows best.
I inform Dr Sare that I will be upset If I have to re-attend Millicent Hospital to aquire antihistermenes.
Dr Sare suggests that I should attend Mt Gambier to aquire this service. Because if I re-attent Millicent hospital. The doctor will charge a fee.
Dr. Sare indicates that I should be happy to pay him a GAP because he has just left dinner guests to attend the hospital. (How unprofessional to even say that)
Of course DR Sare would have been rostered on. He would have known that. Is it my problem that he had to leave guests?
This doctor seems real money hungry.. And none too happy by the time I leave.
We leave the hospital. Without organising payment.
I notice the modern silver convertible sports car now parked in the NO PARKING - RESERVED area.. Hmmm Doctor Sare has a nice flash sports car to drive. Lucky him. Must be nice to make THAT kind of money..
The next day. Sunday. My daughters ankle is no better.
It has become cooler to the touch. But even with detol creme, the itching is getting to her.
Now I'm in a situation. I have used nearly all my spare fuel last night.
I call the Mt Gambier hospital.
I tell what has happened over the phone.
They eventually (coupla mins) get a doctor on the phone.
He says.. "Get here.. I will give your daughter antihistermenes"
Finally she will get what she needed.
Now I cant get to Mt Gambier. So I ring Millicent Hospital.
Thinking I will just try. And walk home from where the fuel in my car runs out.
I tell them what I have been told. I tell them that I cant make it to Mt Gambier.
They indicate that there is nothing they can do. Millicent Hospital won't provide the antihistermene.
So I hang up.
I dont know what to do.
If the local hospital wont help.
After 45 mins or so. I get a message on my mobile phone.
From Millicent Hospital. The Nurse tells me that..
If I appear with my daughter they will supply 1 antihistermene tablet.
I know I cant make it in my car. It occurs to me that Millicent may as well be Mt Gambier.
I am just not going to make it in my car.
Life on a government pension is pretty bleak. With or without a proper health system. So.. I get a brain wave.
I call the Salvation Army.
The Salvos respond. Because not all community members are self serving, money hungry professionals.
Thank whoever/whatever for the salvos. They care when no-one else does.
The Salvation Army representative travelled from Millicent to Beachport.
Picked us up.
Takes us to the Millicent Hospital. Took us home at the end.
Listening all the way to my complaints about the Health System.
And finally he had to travel back to Millicent to get home. He had been out all day. At Millicent and Narracoorte. Before he assisted us. Good response for a tired man?
The above is factual.
What follows is my opinion.
GAP is a dirty word. It means greedy.
Shame on the politicians who approved the legislation that allow this greed.

The holey dollar is not the most important thing.
Families that are desperate and in need should be still important to the decent members of our community.
What side will you be on? Saving Money ($$$) or Families that suffer?
One thing I would really like to know.
Why has the Millicent Hospital been allowed to decend to this level?
There are no Doctors mostly. The nurses are there. So are the patients.
But the doctors are private doctors who charge a gap. (read "with greed")
They only seem to attend when they feel like it.
ie: My daughter waited 2 hours+ for 6 stiches to her face. - At Millicent Hospital - No Doctor available (few Months prior)
If this "Rent a Doctor" system was but a trial for the Hospital.. Then it is a failure. Too many low income families are hurt by this proceedure.
If it is a model for the future.. Then those responsible should be ashamed.
Why do the people of this area have to put up with the penny pinching antics of a few professionals who have banded together?

I notice Dr Sare is on the board of this group.

Giving in to these people may save money by cutting costs.
But what about the reduced services.. Who are the loosers?
We all are. The people the lawmakers claim to represent. Most of all the low income families.
And who are the winners.. Only the money hungry professionals.
I believe Dr Sare has prepared his recomendations for the region to this committee. I can imagine that his proposal would duplicate his profitable Millicent adventure.
I can only ask members of this committee to reject any recomendations along similar lines.

It is a failed experiment. These Doctors must be made to bulk bill in a public hospital.

Anyway.. If they were made to bulk bill. I dont think that these professionals will give up their profitable chairs, hand back their fat funding, not to mention their lucrative customer bases. To start again overseas? I think all doctors should be MADE to serve a period in rural hospitals before they are allowed to profit from their lucrative private practices. Where is their Community Obligation?.. I know all about that after being on a Centerlink Pension. It is legislation that forces my Community Obligation. Similar legislation should be created for our doctors.
What doctor would honestly leave the country anyway? Look around you. Get on the net. Talk to people as I do. The world knows Australia is THE place to be..
Why would these professionals leave?.. And if they do..
Good Ridance.. They proved that they lacked a social concience anyway.
Our society would be better off without them.
Truth be known.. Nurses can cover MOST of what Doctors do anyway.
(And with a lot less attitude)
In some countries they sell antibiotics at supermarkets.
Because there aren't enough Doctors. So be it..

Taxation & Bribery

Isn't taxation an interesting concept? The Government gets to charge you for basically everything. Why? Because you were born here. The reasoning is. That the Government provide certain essential services for the public that need to be paid for. That I understand. What I dont understand is budget surplus with reduced services? Repayments to the public as tax breaks just prior to elections. Or other such bribery aimed at specific groups in the community. When are we going to demand Governments to act appropriately with tax payers money?

The Move to Beachport

The move from Millicent has been achieved. On a the new phone number now. Third Sleep in the new house last night. Kids now travelling to school via a school bus. Whew.. I took the kids to school yesterday. I spoke to Daniels teacher. She is very happy with Daniels improvment in attitude. Aparently he had been creating mischief. While I was there I watched the kids do athletics. Daniel and Sarah both competed seperately. Sarah won a second place for 1500mtr. Daniel came 4th in his division. They were both "stuffed" after it was over. lol

Mr Howard seems to be creating an Australia that will always blindly vote for a Liberal Government. Problem is Mr Howard... If everyone is a lawyer, judge, politician, or doctor.. Who will you tax then? Yourselves?? Oh! My! God!! Finally... hehehehehe
Oh geez its fits too.. Because Howard is a self confessed Monarchist.. It basicly makes him King of Australia. (in his eyes). I guess thats why he is creating lots of young liberals.. To act as psudo Lords and Ladies of HIS Monarchy.. I guess. And its going well... Don't you think? Australians are basically dumb. Well.. Sorry if you take offence to that.. But where were the people when Howard locked up the kids? Why didn't Australia cry WITH those children against the inhumane act's that Howard kept inflicting? I must admit.. I DIDN'T APPEAR. I wasn't there.. I was quiet.. I was a good sheep.. We were all good sheep.. Weren't we? Even when he took us to war. We were especially good sheep in case good old Uncle Sam raised an eyebrow at us. And we are too timid to answer back Uncle Sam. Like little new Zealand. NOT! But lets face it. They have balls. Or their leaders seem to. I honestly think Howard can/will push through laws that change out ways of life in Australia. He is far from committed to the idea of a multicultural Australia. So it will be interesting to see what group "cops" Howards legislation next. I think he will continue tightening down legislation. The shame of it is that I think he could be some kind of maniac that doesn't care really about his legislation hurting people. Only the major vote swing items will he fall into line on. Do you see what I mean? The total replies would be all Howard would be interested in. If there weren't too many replies. No matter what public opinion actually was. If it isn't a significant number of people responding. It's isn't important enough to worry about. No matter what they think. On the other hand.. If lots of people feel strongly about a subject. Thats worth taking note of. This is the way Howard can magically slip out of the set noose. He knows via polls like these (maybe even this one) What actually matters to the Australian people. If he knowingly "crosses" them.. He risks his future. And he knows it.

So judging by the state of Australia at the moment. I guess the Libs will slink off next time. Because they have created a nice big mess for the ALP to try and fix again.

Well today we heard that the Country isn't quite as rosy as Mr Howard would like us to think. What a shock.. lol NOT!!! So the economy barely developed.. Well what do you expect with all these new policies designed to make working Australians work harder and longer. The Liberals seem to think that taxing the lower income earners MORE than their rich buddies results in an increased economy? Hmmmmm More money in the fat cats pockets.. AND we have had an interest rate hike. Well.. How many people will that put under? Not that Mr Howard cares. He is too busy making it more impossible to collect Government welfare.. Dont ya know.. So when it gets real tough... Hope you dont loose your job. Because you will be in for a shock. Mr Howard has changed most things. And you think maybe since you have been paying taxes all your life.. Maybe you DESERVE unemployement benefits. Wrong.. Mr Howard thinks that Welfare money could be better spent of tax rebates. So dont expect any EMERGENCY payments. Cos they dont exist anymore. You have to be a FARMER in financial trouble for that.. Or have no roof over your head. Even then.. You will have to wait. Until they cross the T's and dot all I's.. It may take a month or more. And there is no good complaining. Because you see.. It's Government legislation. But aparently thats ok too.. Because Mr Howard will back pay you. If your survive. Have fun with Mr Howard's vision for Australia's future. You poor sheep.. lol

Everything on this site is posted as my own personal opinion. But the following blurb needed that especially stated I thought... :)

Boy are we in trouble now. Howards Gang has control of the upper house as well as the lower house? This is going to result in untold misery for low income families. (Again) Shame on the voting public to allow this to happen. (Tutt Tutt) I do wonder if the voting public realize that a vote for Howard resulted in even more massive changes to the welfare system? After having some personal contact with the red tape, increased legislation, and a continuing disregard for the publics overal welfare. (A problem indeed) Delays for essential survival criteria? Falling totally back on Community Welfare Systems that are self admitidly at breaking point? And Mr. Howard will now proceed to make this situation worse? As he proceeds to make single parents. (Me) As well as Disabled people find work. When will he finally be happy? The man has no compassion for the down and out in our community. He has all this huge surplus of funds. But a mean narrow minded additude about it. Its like its his own personal money. Being a fat cat himself and likely under control of many companies. Howard creates an Australia that only looks after the winners. Those that have made it. Many by standing on others heads. Thus leaving a path of personal destruction behind them. I dont believe people like Howard can get super rich by being nice and polite. Treating others the way you want to be treated. Like offering their seat to an old lady on public transport. These fat cats have the predator instinct. And we are their prey. What is the image Howard has of Australia in the future? What will he mould us into? This attitude of not being concerned with the public welfare unless people fit into certain well defined boxes. The inability of the system itself to create adaquate boxes is the problem itself. While the Government Departments that are answerable for where the welfare dollar is spent, most have instigated schemes to reduce the amount of welfare dollars that they have to pay out. (Thus returning the surplus to the Government) Thru outright draconian interpretation of existing legislation. (Which has to be challenged thru other Govt. Departments) Eventually.. Given a reasonable result. Your survival in society may continue. Is this what Australians wanted? A lower class of street dwellers that are completely ignored by the Government that are supposed to represent them? Howards mandate was to improve the overall condition of the Australian public. Not to represent the upper echelon. History will remember Howard as a timid little man (Bushs Puppet) who was overly harsh on the public whilst enjoying a known surplus.

So I can chat to the opposite sex in my "Area" so to speak.. lol There is a lot of sexual inuendo in the PalTalk Adult rooms. (Every 10 mins on average). Shame really.. lol Such low sex drives.. hehhee ;p

Moving House..

Wow.. Here I am.. Moving house again.
Gee I hate it... Finding/Moving stuff that you never use.
The kids are excited by the move. I gave them the option of going to the Coonawarra Dragracing or Start Shifting House.. And of course they wanted to shift house??? Uh Huh.. Where did I go so wrong? Anyway once in the new abode I wont have to drive to much. As a school bus goes past the door. :) The "black car" has been doing some hard miles lately. There seems to be a slight noise/vibration coming from the rear of the car. Hope it doesnt cost me money soon. :( So the move can't come soon enough for the "black car".. Now if I can just convince it to tow a trailer load or 5 in the next few days...(Without breaking something)... I will be happy..

Grrrrr... I am nearly 50 and en-employed..
I am an IT specialist with no qualifications and no money.
Problem is everyone is an IT specialist nowadays.
Most have some qualifications.
I was about to start a course initiated by the previous Government.
To get some qualifications.
John Howard abolished TAFE courses for the un-employed.

Bloody Cops -- Cost families money they can ill aford too loose
Politicians -- Live a high life on high wages at the taxpayers expence
Lawyers -- Get rich from other peoples miseries - Then become politicians
Bank Managers -- Give loans to poor risk mates but snub low income earners.
